Multi-channel processors are available from several manufacturers. While still able to deliver 2-channel stereo or 7 channel DTS surround, preamplifier / processors offer a great deal of flexibility. New decoding technology from Dolby, DTS and THX offer more flexibility.

A popular preamplifier / processor is the Anthem AV-30. It has been a favorite in our store when it was the AV-20. It offers tremendous flexibility, switching and sound quality for the price. (please call us for latest pricing) It is also user upgradeable. Many of our customers have successfully upgraded the software on their AVM-20 and AVM-30 on their own. Yes, user upgrades do work! Anthem has one of the most sophisticated, yet easy to navigate menu's we've seen.
