Lower Level - Higher Performance
Genesis provided the home entertainment for one of the most attractive homes at a recent Parade of Homes. Our contribution was full plasma home theater system and whole house audio and video.

Our solution
Steve Stabile specified a Fujitsu 42" plasma downstairs in the very comfortable lower level. The plasma screen is nestled in an attractive molding surround just above the fireplace. A complete home theater surround system is integrated into the room via covert in-ceiling speakers and carefully hidden speakers behind the plants. One would never know a full theater system was in the room.

Performance and elegance
In ceiling speakers have been long overlooked as an effective means to deliver music in rooms. In-ceiling speakers may not provide the loudest or clearest sound possible, but bluntly, so what? In the dining room, there is no need for optimum sound. What is needed is excellent dispersion without "hotspotting" and ability to sound full and rich at low volumes. Those are attributes that many very expensive box speakers don't have. In-ceiling speakers have vastly improved in the last five years, and the dining area is a great place to enjoy a little jazz with the jambalaya.
