We didn't think it was possible. The video and audio performance of Home Theater has now reached a level of performance that many of us would have thought unbelievable and more importantly,
unachievable.

In the last few years, we have witnessed landmark performance levels occur particularly in the projection market, video processing and DVD software. The sheer amount of HD data now available with Blu-Rays' 1080P data stream has expanded the visual horizon and somehow projector manufacturers have not only kept up with it - they're exploiting Blu-Rays' true HD potential.

Unbelievable HD in-home performance is not unachievable. It is here. We call it DirectorsCut Cinema.

Marketing hyperbole aside, Home Theater enthusiasts would have to agree that video projectors in particular, have seen a dramatic rise in performance by embracing newer technologies and digital processing. What hasn't occurred is the ability at the retail level to demonstrate what is achievable in a true state-of-the-art, cost no object, home theater.

The motivation for creating a reference level theater was shared by owners Art DeLorenzo, Chuck Ellisor and Steve Stabile. They believed that consumers need to experience what is possible with today's leading edge technology components. Leveraging their combined skills and industry consultants, they crafted a theater design integrating some of Genesis' highly acclaimed product lines.

From the beginning, the plan was to create a fresh look and take the interior to a new level of professionalism and appearance.
Chuck Ellisor asked interior design consultant, David Berg, to assist us in designing the room to resemble a Directors Screening room. To help accomplish this, the room was treated with Kinetics StretchTRACK. StretchTRAK is a new and innovative product. It enables you to tailor the acoustics of the room underneath its stretch fabric. Chris Underwood of Kinetics performed in-room acoustic analysis and then strategically placed materials designed to absorb or reflect the sound to achieve a room that is acoustically coherent. The StretchTRAK material is installed over those materials. The result is a room that is acoustically neutral but is very attractive. StretchTRAK is available in different colors and textures. We want to thank David Berg and the staff at Kinetics for the hard work and the excellent design solution created for Genesis.
